A motorcyclist was travelling up Field’s Hill road when he hit a pothole and lost control of his vehicle. He also collided with the barrier and was transported in a serious condition to the R.K Khan hospital.
Potholes are especially threatening to motorcyclists who only have two wheels between them and the road surface. They are often obscured from the motorcyclist by other vehicles in their line of vision.
