A 28yr old man is in a critical condition after crashing his motor bike into the side of a light motor vehicle at the intersection of the M7 and Old Main road on ramp in Northdene this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man lying in the road and being assisted by members of public who had stopped to help. The man had suffered multiple fractures to his leg, arm and even possible internal injuries. Advanced life support intervention was performed on the patient before he was placed on a specialised board to help protect his spine and head. He was rushed to R K Khans Hospital in a critical condition where he would have to undergo emergency surgery.
It is unclear who was at fault but Metro Police and Fire Department were on the scene and would be investigating the accident further.
