A female to be in her mid twenty’s was knocked down by a light motor vehicle on the M7 between Hans Dettman and St Johns bridge in the direction of Pinetown this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the patient lying in the road in a critical condition. She had suffered severe traumatic injuries and needed advanced life support intervention. The patient was intubated and placed on a manual ventilator before being transported to R K Khans Hospital in a critical condition.
Sadly the patient died in the hospital due to her traumatic injuries.
