A 23-year-old man died after being hit by a train in Kempton Park on Saturday, Gauteng paramedics said.
“The man sat on the railway line and an oncoming train driver hooted and hooted, but the man just sat there,” Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
He was hit and died on scene due to the extent of his injuries.
