A man has died after smashing his vehicle into the Armco barriers on the R24 at the Edenvale turn-off this morning just after 05h30. Details to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation.
When paramedics from Netcare 911 arrived at the accident they found that the vehicle had broken up into pieces and was spread over a large area of the highway. Tragically the driver of the vehicle died on impact due to the extensive injuries that he had sustained.
