“The 76-year-old man was shot in the chest and died in his car. Two men were allegedly trying to hijack his Toyota Corrolla,” Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge said.
Police believe they panicked after they shot him, and realising they had to drag his body out of the car, ran away.
No arrests were made.
Police are investigating a murder and attempted murder case.
