A man was killed when he was struck by a car while crossing the N3’s Durban bound carriageway near Paradise Valley late last night.
The cause of the accident remains unclear and will be the subject of a South African Police Force investigation.
Netcare911 Paramedics arrived to find that the man had been crossing the road when he was struck by a light motor vehicle. A second car travelling in the same direction then slammed into the first car.
The man sustained critical injuries and had died prior to the arrival of medics. The occupants of both vehicles were uninjured in the incident.
