Three people were seriously injured when their vehicle overturned and landed on the railway lines just outside Bethlehem this morning at around 05h40. Details to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the accident and found the mangled wreckage of the Mazda lying on its roof on the railway lines. After triaging the patients they established the 3 occupants had sustained serious injuries, and after they were stabilised medics transported them to the Bethlehem provincial hospital for the care that they required.
