Truck Driver And Conductor Escape Minor Injuries


A driver and conductor had a narrow escape after the truck they were travelling in over turned on the off ramp of the N3 Durban bound near Cato Ridge this morning.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the articulated truck lying on its right side near the freeway. The driver and conductor had already extricated them self’s from the vehicle and were found walking around on the scene. They were examined by the paramedics and found they had suffered minor cuts and bruises and did not need further medical care. They were extremely luck they did not sustain serious injuries and that they were able to walk away from this.

RTI were in attendance and had to close half the off ramp to the freeway due to the accident, the off ramp would be later closed for salvaging to take place.
