A man has been killed after the vehicle he was traveling in rolled on the R57 just before the R59 overhead bridge in the direction of Vanderbijlpark.
The blue sedan rolled off the road due to unknown reason, and the man’s possessions which were in the car were strewn across the scene. The vehicle rolled down a shallow embankment and into a tree, coming to rest on its side up against the tree. The man was found lying near the vehicle but he had died prior to arrival of the paramedics as he had sustained significant injury to his entire body.
There was no one else in the car at the time of the accident and there appeared to have bee no other vehicles involved in the accident.
The police will conduct a full investigation into the cause of the fatal accident.
