DigiCore lays down tracks in India

JSE-listed DigiCore, a global leader in vehicle tracking and fleet management is entering the massive Indian market with its consumer-orientated Ctrack vehicle tracking technology. The company has appointed Mumbai-based Zest Technologies as a principal distribution partner in India.

Zest will operate a 24/7 Ctrack customer support centre to meet all customers’ tracking needs. “Zest with Ctrack aim to add nearly 3,000 skilled jobs over the next three years and create a technology delivery framework across India for vehicle tracking at an estimated value of US$ 50 million” said Mr Gautam Balakrishnan, CEO of Zest.

Ctrack customers can monitor vehicles through their own data centre using Ctrack MaXx, use the zero footprint internet driven Ctrack Online or on smartphones using Ctrack Mobile. In addition, authorised GSM & Email addresses receive real-time alerts. Fleet owners will receive management advice, consulting reports and analytics, which will greatly help improve their fleet performance.

Among the vast array of features Ctrack offers Geofencing, ActiveWatchModeTM, DriverAlertTM, CrashGuardTM, BorderGuardTM, BodyGuardTM, RoadTrackTM, Illegal movement, Accident Analysis Data, Low battery notification, ‘E’ Panic, Driver Behaviour profile, route management, immobiliser and comprehensive reporting suite are most interesting.
