GRASSY PARK 19 September 2011

Animal handlers at the SPCA, Cape of Goodhope received their rabies vaccinations today and ER24 was there to lend a hand. Paramedics attended the event for safety reasons and stood by as the animal handlers received their injections.

The injections were administered free of charge by a nurse from Prospur pharmacy in Plumstead. After the proceedings concluded the animal handlers were left with slightly sore arms, but with the knowledge that they are safe to do their work.

Paramedics felt honoured to be able to assist the hard working employees of the SPCA who aid the animals around Cape Town.
