A man in his 40’s has been killed at the corners of Greta and Ermelo Streets in Springs.
The incident details are at this stage not clear, but the motorbike collided into a white sedan with such force, both vehicles were extensively damaged. The front of the car was ripped off, and the bike was found in pieces at the side of the road.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, there was nothing more that paramedics could do for him.
The elderly gentleman driving the car was treated for minor injuries at the scene before he was taken to a nearby hospital for further assessment.
The police were at the scene for investigation purposes.
