Truck driver killed at level crossing in Free State

The driver of a construction truck was killed when a train hit the vehicle at a level crossing in the southern Free State on Monday.

Free State police spokesman Captain Harry Nagel said the accident happened near Edenburg around 7.30am on Monday.

The driver of the truck was the only casualty. Police had opened a culpable homicide docket. – Sapa
