AutoZone Opens its 100th Wholly-Owned Retail Store in KwanoBuhle

AutoZone, the largest privately owned automotive parts retailer and wholesaler in Southern Africa, has opened its 100th wholly-owned retail store in KwanoBuhle, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.

AutoZone is the largest privately owned automotive parts retailer and wholesaler in Southern Africa. The company has a footprint of 10 wholesale branches, 89 retail branches and 48 member-owned franchise branches. With four more wholly owned retail stores planned to open before December, AutoZone will have a Southern African footprint of 149 stores spanning South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.

AutoZone’s wholesale, retail and member-owned branches are supported by a base of morethan 688 local and international suppliers and an active product range of more than of 75 000 parts.

One of AutoZone’s key strategies is to address South Africa’s emerging, under-served markets where there is a need for an comprehensive range of quality automotive spares at competitive prices, easily accessible to our fast-growing customer base.

AutoZone provides major brands such as AUTO-LEK and ACSA-MAG as well as in-house brands such as Ampro, Eco-Tech, Auto Kraft , AutoZone Chemicals, Eddies Spares, Elpar and FEMO.

AutoZone will make its technical support team available to the branch where technical experts will assist with queries related to AutoZone products and parts. They will answer any technical queries seven days a week, from 7am to 7pm daily.

The technical team will recommend road safety and maintenance tips, assist with cost-saving ideas and useful hints to ensure road safety. They offer troubleshooting assistance over the phone in dealing with car problems ranging from changing a fan belt to helping with engine components.

The KwanoBuhle branch will make available AutoZone’s DIY booklets providing hints and tips on checking and replacing the fan belt, installing spark plugs, maintaining the coolingsystem and wiper blades.
