A 33 year old male sustained a serious injury this afternoon after he allegedly fell off his scooter in Dan King road in Kraaifontein.
The cause of the man falling off his scooter is unknown at this stage. when ER24 Paramedics arrived at the scene they found man in the road. He was in severe pain. The gentleman had sustained a serious injury to his left leg in the form of a broken bone.
Due the injuries sustained, on- scene paramedics promptly dispatched the ER24 Discovery Medicopter to the scene. The man then received Advanced Life Support treatment at the scene. He was later airlifted to Tygerburg Hospital for further medical attention.
