During the past week we read about people dying after falling from of a bakkie in an accident near Somerset West in the Cape. Fact is, driving on the back of a bakkie leaves you with little to no chance in a collision!
An alarmed motorist send these images to the Arrive Alive website after witnessing a road user drive with very small children standing at the back of a bakkie whilst moving in traffic!
Please think before you drive – not of your neatly buckled in position behind the wheel – but of the young lives you are placing at risk on the back of your bakkie!
Keep in mind even though you may drive slow and with caution there are others on the road who are not!!
Safety is not automatic, think about it!!
