A single cab bakkie appears to have been crushed after the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and it collided into a tree off Rustenburg Road in Krugersdorp West this morning. The bakkie was the only vehicle involved, and 2 of the 3 male occupants died at the scene.
ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene to find the bakkie a short distance away from the tree, but the entire vehicle was extensively damaged. Two of the young men, appearing to be in their 20’s, had not survived the impact, and paramedics initial assessments revealed that they had already succumbed to their injuries and had died at the scene prior to their arrival. The third man had suffered moderate injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance for the necessary care that he needed.
The cause of this fatal accident will be investigated by the necessary authorities who attended the scene.
