Three teachers believed to be in their mid twenties to early forties have been injured this afternoon after the bakkie they were travelling in rolled numerous times and came to a halt in a field near to Boylow Road in Vereeniging.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the bakkie in the field on its wheels with two of the occupants still inside and the third person underneath the bakkie. The teacher underneath the vehicle had sustained possible neck and back injuries and minor cuts to her body. She was placed on a specialised board and placed into the waiting ambulance. The two occupants inside the bakkie were treated for minor cuts and bruises and pains to the shoulder region. They were all stabilised on scene and transported to Sebokeng Hospital and Mediclinic Vereeniging for further medical intervention.

It is unclear of the cause of the driver losing control but the necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
