A collision between two bakkies at the intersection of Smith and Brook Street has left a driver and passenger with serious injuries this morning.
ER24 and Medix arrived on the scene and found the two vehicles in the middle of the intersection. The occupants of both vehicles were outside seated and walking around on scene.
The driver and passenger of the one vehicle sustained suspected neck and back injuries and minor cuts to there faces. They were taken to a nearby hospital for further medical care. The other two occupant from the other Bakkie sustained no injuries.
Traffic was affected until the vehicles were removed to the side of the road. The necessary authorities will investigate the accident further.
