We would like to share an important message received from a visitor to the Arrive Alive website:
“I often see parents driving around with kids not buckled up and this saddens (and annoys) me greatly. The normal response is “I am only going shopping so the kids don’t have to be buckled in”.
I set up the above in an attempt to educate parents as to the dangers of not buckling up even at relatively low speeds.
Parents would never allow their kids to play on the unprotected roof of a 2nd story apartment but are quite happy to have unbuckled kids in the car while driving at 60-120 km/h which is a much greater risk.
I am not sure how to get the message out there and I therefore appeal for your help in spreading the message and the knowledge.
