Seven people have sustained various injuries after a vehicle rolled off Main Reef Road near Dobsonville in Roodepoort.
The vehicle was allegedly traveling in the direction of Randfontein on Main Reef Road when the driver is believed to have lost control. The Toyota hatchback crashed into the pavement and landed on its roof in the middle island. When paramedics arrived at the scene, all seven occupants of the vehicle were outside. They were either sitting next to the wreckage or walking around the scene. Pieces of the wrecked car were strewn across the road.
Four of the seven people who were traveling in the car were treated for minor to moderate injuries and were stabilised on scene before being taken to Leratong Hospital.
There had been no other vehicles involved in the accident.
