A female driver was seriously injured after her vehicle flipped and landed in an informal house near Isipingo this morning. Reports from the scene indicate that the lady was on her way to work, while driving along the Umbumbulu Road towards Isipingo she lost control, veered off the road, and landed roof first into the wall of the informal dwelling.
Exacts detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the driver at the side of the vehicle. After she was stabilized on scene they transported her to the Netcare Kingsway hospital for the care that she required.
