19 April 2012 – Man Killed on Parys Road
[POTCHEFSTROOM] – A man believed to be in his 50’s was found dead on the Parys Road approximately five kilometers outside of Potchefstroom.
Shortly after 07:40 this morning paramedics were called to the scene where they found an ISUZU bakkie that overturned. The man was found several metres away from the vehicle with fatal injuries. It appears as if the incident took place in the early hours of this morning. A passer-by contacted the emergency services when he noticed the incident.
Paramedics explained that this specific road is notorious for accidents and is not often travelled at night.
