17 April 2012 – Man Left Critical after Crash in Kempton Park
KEMPTON PARK – A man believed to be in his 30’s sustained traumatic injuries after his vehicle overturned several times on Rietfontein Road near De Ridder Avenue in Kempton Park.
In the early hours of this morning paramedics received an emergency call that a vehicle has overturned and a man was still trapped inside of it. Upon arrival of the paramedics they found the man in the vehicle with serious injuries.
It appeared to paramedics that the man was allegedly unrestrained in the vehicle and was thrown around in it during the collision. Paramedics initiated Advanced Life Support treatment on the scene to stabilise the man before rushing him off to Tembisa Hospital for further medical treatment.
The exact cause of this incident is not yet known. It is not clear at this stage if a another vehicle was also involved.
