A collision on Main Reef Road between Brakpan and Benoni involving a motorcyclist and light motor vehicle has left one person dead this morning.
ER24 arrived on the scene and found the motorcyclist believed to be on his early thirties lying in the road and the motor bike was found a few meters away. Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he had already succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased on scene. The driver of the light motor vehicle was not hurt in the accident.
The traffic was affected due to the accident but the necessary authorities will investigate the accident further.
