VAN DER BIJL PARK SB5] – Nine school children were injured this morning when a VW Caravelle taxi collided head on with a tree on Stephenson’s Street in Van der Bijl Park SB5.
Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 07:30 where they found the taxi against a tree. All of the school children were sitting outside of the vehicle at the time. Fortunately they sustained only minor injuries.
The children aged between seven and eight years were transported to local hospital in the area for further medical treatment.
The exact cause of this incident is not yet known.
