[LIMPOPO] – Three people were killed this evening when a Toyota Tazz and a VW Transporter collided with each other on Matlala Road in Limpopo.
Paramedics that arrived on the scene found four people inside of the Tazz. Three of them sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on the scene. Another occupant in the vehicle sustained critical injuries. The man, believed to be the driver, was stabilised on the scene and rushed off to a nearby hospital for further medical management.
Paramedics also found four occupants inside the Transporter. None of the occupants in the Transporter were injured.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known. Bystanders explained that it appeared as if the Tazz was approaching an off ramp when the two vehicles collided. The incident will be investigated.
