[PIETERMARITZBURG, KZN – 20 MAY 2012 AT 17H30]
A driver has sustained minor injuries after losing control of his car and crashing into a tree on Devenshire Road in Pietermaritzburg this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the green golf on its wheels with extensive damage to the body of the vehicle. The driver was already out of the vehicle when emergency personnel arrived on the scene. They assessed him and found that he had sustained minor cuts and abrasions. He was taken to a nearby hospital for further medical care and general check up.
It is unclear how the driver lost control but the local SAPS were on scene and would investigate the accident further.
