Nine people sustained various injuries this morning after the minibus taxi they were traveling in overturned on Malibongwe road in Randburg.
The cause of the accident is unclear, but when ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found that the taxi had overturned and was lying on its roof in the middle of the road. All of the patients were able to remove themselves from the vehicle.
Paramedics treated the patients at the scene for various injuries ranging from suspected back and neck injuries to various scrapes and bruises. All of the patients were later transported to nearby medical facilities by various ambulance services.
