[Durban, KZN – 16 JUNE 2012 AT 07H30]
An articulated truck carrying scrap metal lost it’s load as it entered Blamely Road from South Coast Road, causing the load to hit a taxi that was picking up passengers this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the truck blocking most of the lane with some of the load on the road. The taxi had been moved to the front. Five passengers from the taxi were examined and treated for minor injuries. They were transported by ER24 and EMRS to Wentworth Hospital for further medical care.
The necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the circumstance further.
