Shortly after 5pm this afternoon, a single vehicle accident took place on the N6, approximately 10 kilometers outside of Bloemfontein in the direction of Reddersburg. The driver of a Toyota Corolla is believed to have lost control of the vehicle, after which it overturned.

The mother and her two young children who were in the car at time time were ejected from the vehicle as it rolled. A six year old little girl suffered breaks to her legs while the second child, whose age is at this time unknown, but appeared to be the younger sibling, suffered moderate injuries.

Luckily the mother was left with only minor injuries and she did not require further treatment but went along to hospital with her children.

The cause of the accident is not known, but no other vehicles had been involved.
