[BETHELEM, FS – 09 AUGUST 2012 AT 20H00]
A motorcyclist believed to be between forty and forty five years of age has lost his life after colliding with a light motor vehicle on the R70 between Rosendal and Ficksburg this evening.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the motorcyclist lying in the road with the light motor vehicle found a few meters away near to his bike. The patient was unresponsive and when paramedics assessed him found that he had already succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased on the scene. The driver of the light motor vehicle was unharmed in the accident.
The necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
