Two people have sustained multiple injuries when their truck crashed through a corporate parking lot and then into a house in Weltevredenpark.
Shortly after 10:00 paramedics received multiple calls for the incident near the Springhaas intersection on JG Strijdom.
Paramedics found two people trapped inside of the cab of the truck. The Fire and Rescue Services had to use hydraulic rescue tools to free the two men from the wreckage. A man believed to be in his late 40’s and another believed to be in his early 30’s was freed from the wreckage after approximately an hour.
The exact cause of this incident is not yet know. Bystanders explained that the truck was traveling down Golf Club Terrace hill before it crashed into the property.
The incident will be investigated.
