Two people have died following a single vehicle collision on the Vaalvontein road outside of Groblersdal in the early hours of this morning.
The cause of the collision is unclear, but it seems as if a single vehicle had veered off of the road before overturning multiple times. The vehicle had allegedly overturned continuously for a distance of 100 meters before coming to a standstill on its left hand side.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found that the vehicle had two male occupants, one believed to be aged in his late 30’s and the other in his early 20’s. Both men had unfortunately sustained various fatal injuries and were later declared dead at the scene
Local law enforcement officials later arrived at the scene and will be investigating the incident further.
