A nine year old boy has been knocked down and killed by a taxi on the M35 near Folweni south of Durban this morning.
ER24 Advanced Life Support paramedic arrived on the scene and found the young child lying in the road with the family surrounding him. The paramedic assessed him and found the young boy had sustained very traumatic and fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
The driver of the taxi returned to the accident with local authorities after notifying them of what had happen. The police will now investigate the incident further.
