A seven year old girl from the Amandawe area near Scottburgh sustained serious injuries this afternoon, after she was struck by a car attempting to cross a road.
The girls parents had rushed the badly injured child’s to a near by doctors rooms for treatment. ER24 paramedics later arrived at the scene and assisted the doctor in the treatment of the child. The girl had sustained suspected back and neck injuries as well as a head and chest injury.
The KZN Department of Health: EMRS helicopter was called out to transport the critically injured child to a hospital in Durban.
