A collision on the M13 Fields Hill west bound involving a delivery vehicle carrying gas bottles and two light motor vehicles has left two people with moderate injuries this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the one light motor vehicle crushed up against the Armco barrier with the over turned delivery vehicle into it and gas cylinders across the freeway and the second motor vehicle just behind it with damage to the front.
The driver of the delivery vehicle and light motor vehicle sustained moderate injuries and were treated for suspected neck and back injuries and were transported to Hillcrest Private Hospital for further medical care.
Traffic was severely affected in the area and the necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
