One female has died following a single vehicle collision on the N1 highway near Kroonstad this afternoon.
The events leading up to the collision is unclear, but ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene to find a small Suzuki hatchback had veered from the road and overturned multiple times. The driver and only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the collision was a female aged 27.
The patient had sustained various fatal injuries and was unfortunately later declared dead at the scene. Local law enforcement officials attended the collision and will be investigating the cause further.
