Man severely injured in Krugersdorp head-on collision

One male driver has sustained serious injuries this afternoon following a head on collision between a truck and a passenger vehicle in Kagiso near Krugersdorp.

The events leading up to the collision is unclear at this stage, but ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene to find that the passanger vehicle had sustained substantial damage. The vehicle had one male driver believed to be aged in his 30’s, in the vehicle at the time of the collision. Local fire and rescue personnel had to cut the vehicle in order to free the man.

The man had sustained serious injuries in the form of multiple broken bones to his arms and legs as well as suspected back ad neck injuries. The patient received treatment at the scene before being transported to the Krugersdorp private hospital for further medical attention.
