A bakkie traveling on the N2 north in Amanzimtoti when the driver suddenly lost control. The bakkie then rolled several times, crossing over the center median, landing on its roof on the south bound carriage way.
As it rolled, the bakkie collided with a Honda Civic that was traveling in a southerly direction. The woman in her 30’s who was the driver of the Honda, suffered suspected back injuries and facial injuries. She was taken through to Wentworth hospital by ambulance.
Despite the mechanism of the vehicle rolling and the accident, the driver of the bakkie did not suffer any injury and did not wish to go to hospital.
