[AMANZIMTOTI, KZN – 18 NOVEMBER 2012 AT 11H15]
Five people have treated for various injuries after an accident on the N2 north bound near Galleria involving three light motor vehicles this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found three light motor vehicles in the left hand lane of the freeway with extensive damage all three vehicles. Paramedics assessed the occupants and found they had sustained moderate injuries and were treated for suspected neck and back injuries and minor cuts and abrasions. They were stabilised on scene and transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.
It is believed that the driver of a Hyundai i20 lost control while travelling on the N2 south bound and veered across the centre medium and collided with two other motor vehicles that were travelling on the N2 north bound. Traffic was severe affected due to the accident but the necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
