Three die in Kimberley collision

Three people have died following a single vehicle collision approximately 20 kilometers  outside of Kimberley this morning.

A white BMW was traveling on the Boshof road when it allegedly veered out of control before leaving the road and overturning multiple times. All three of the occupants who were in the vehicle at the time of the collision, was ejected from the vehicle as it overturned.

ER24 paramedics who later arrived at the scene found the occupants a few meters from the wrecked vehicle which had came to a standstill on its roof. One of the occupants was found to have sustained various fatal juries and was later declared dead at the scene.

The two remaining occupants had sustained serious injuries in the form of chest injuries as well as suspected back and neck injuries. Both occupants were found to be not breathing and had no pulse. Paramedics initiated resuscitation efforts on the patients before loading them into separate ambulances and rapidly transporting them to a nearby medial facility.

Unfortunately both patients were declared dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. Local law enforcement officials attended the scenes and will be investigating the cause of the collision further.
