Two men have sustained minor to moderate injuries after an accident on Nossib Street in Pretoria this morning.
Paramedics arrived on scene to find that two vehicles had been involved, and it appeared that both vehicles were going around the corner when the one crashed into the passenger side of the other. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn onto its side. The driver had somehow managed to climb from the vehicle, but the passenger, who was strapped into his seat, needed assistance from the Fire Department to be removed.
Both patients suffered minor to moderate injuries only, despite the severe mechanism of the accident, and they were both taken to hospital by ambulance.
The driver and only occupant of the other vehicle involved did not require further medial attention and left the scene privately.
