A man in his 30’s has been killed and another three people injured after three vehicles collided into one another on the N1 north just before the Allandale road off ramp.
A white Toyota sedan crashed into the rear of a bakkie and then somehow also collided into the back of a BMW X3 SUV. It is not yet clear as to how the three vehicles collided and it will be determined upon investigation by police.
The man in his 30’s driving the Toyota was killed during the impact, the front of the vehicle was crumpled and the dashboard pushed forward into the driver. It appears that the man had sustained such severe internal injuries that he died on scene as a result of these injuries. There was no more that could be done to save the man’s life and he was declared dead.
There had been one occupant in each of the two other vehicles and they had both sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
