[Pretoria, GP – 15 December 2012]

Incident Time – 10H30

Fifteen people injured after a taxi and a light motor vehicle collided on the R21 and Nellmapuis in the direction of Pretoria this morning.

ER24 and other emergency personnel arrived on the scene and found the car in the road with the taxi lying on its side in the right hand lane of the R21.

The commuters from the taxi had already climbed out of the vehicle by the time emergency personnel arrived on the scene. They were transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.

It is unclear how the accident occurred  but the necessary authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
