At around 5pm today, Tuesday January 15, 2013, a bike and vehicle collided on the corner of Witkoppen Road and Montecasino Boulevard in Fourways. EMER-G-MED paramedics responded to the scene.
Tragically the biker had sustained multiple injuries and died on impact. Exact details of how the accident occurred are unclear but will be investigated by authorities.
The diver of the vehicle was visibly traumatised and had sustained minor injuries but did not want to be transported to hospital by ambulance.
EMER-G-MED’s M2; A1; RV1 and RV3 were all on scene.
