A female believed to be in her late twenties has sustained moderate injuries after losing control of motor vehicle on Kenyon Howden Road and veered off the road and crashed through a fence before coming to rest into the foundation wall of a residence this morning.
ER24 and other emergency personnel arrived on the scene and found the car resting next to the wall. The driver was out of the vehicle and seated on the grass next to the car. Paramedics assessed her and found she had suspected neck and back injuries and was placed on a specialised board before being transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
It is unclear what caused the driver to lose control of her vehicle but the local law enforcement authorities were on the scene and would investigate the accident further.
