A female in her twenties has tragically died after the taxi that they were traveling in overturned on the N1 near Malibongwe Drive this evening. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative, however the vehicle rolled several times ejecting some of the commuters along the way.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the emergency services arrived at the scene to find a female in her twenties unresponsive along the road. After examining her they found that she had tragically died on scene due to the extensive injuries that she sustained.
Two others sustained serious injuries, after they were stabilized on scene , medics transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
