A man miraculously escaped with his life after his vehicle overturned and slid on its roof for a few hundred meters on the N2 north near the M7. Reports indicate that the man was traveling on the northbound lane at around 08h40 when he lost control of his vehicle and overturned, the wreckage coming to rest in the centre median several hundred meters down the road.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the fire department arrived at the scene to find that the patient had been pulled from the rear window of the wreckage by bystanders. After medics stabilized the man on scene, they transported him to the Netcare St Augustine’s hospital for the care that he required.
